Kabul (BNA) Chaired by the second vice-president, Sarwar Danesh, the Laws Committee approved the bill on the standards affairs management law, under which Afghanistan could join the World Trade Organization (WTO) with commitment to process and issue them, a statement from his office said the other day.
The law could provide a proper ground for expansion of trade beyond the border and draw attention of the traders to the domestic products, said the statement.
The committee tasked the justice ministry to lodge the visions of the committee members for the reforms in the law.
The committee also focused on what the ministry of interior presented a draft law for regulation of the custodies and tasked the ministry of justice to present it to the next session of the Laws committee.
