Kabul (BNA) As many as 60 terrorists have been killed during clearing operations led by Afghan National Army within the last 24 hours in different parts of the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office with releasing a statement said today, the operations were conducted with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to suppress armed oppositions and protect the lives and properties of people in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Paktika, Kandahar, Ghazni, Faryab, Urozgan, and Helmand provinces.
In addition, 81 other militants including two ISIS fighters were wounded and some heavy and light weapons have been discovered by Afghan security forces during the operations as well, the source added.
Also within the past 24 hours 10 mopping-up operations and 13 special operations have been conducted in various parts of 6 provinces and Afghan air forces carried out 74 air flights for supporting Afghan National Army troops during military operations.
