Kabul (BNA) Afghan national army forces launching a joint operation in relevant areas of Laghman province killed a leader of armed Taliban with his two men, wounded two and arrested two suspects.
Sarhadi Zawak governor spokesman of Lagham said BNA, the operation launched under the name of Zolfeqar Shanzda, in Alingar district two days ago.
According to the source, in the operation Zarqawi will-known commander of armed Taliban killed with his two men, two insurgents wounded and two suspicious accused of cooperation with armed Taliban arrested
He further said, in the operation a hideout of armed Taliban discovered and seized.
He claimed there were no casualties among Afghan security forces in the operation.
