Jalalabad (BNA) During the recent battles that took place in some parts of Nangarhar province 11 armed insurgents were killed yesterday.
Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal spokesman for Nangarhar police told BNA, the clashes occurred following Taliban’s attack on security posts in which 4 armed rebels were killed.
At least 3 Taliban were killed in the second battle that took place while security forces conducted attack on Taliban’s convoys’ in Haska Mena district.
The conflict occurred while security forces began shelling on a group of Taliban motorcycles.
According to another report, four armed insurgents shot dead by security forces while they wanted to plant mines.
