Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) police chief in Baghlan province discovered and defused a mine which was placed under a bridge yesterday.
Ahmad Jaweed Basharat, police spokesman of Baghlan said BNA, Armed Taliban planted a mine under a bridge in Pul-e-Khomri city for killing of innocent civilians during the Eid days.
Basharat added that the police of Baghlan province managed to discover the mine and prevented from a blast.
Basharat said that the police chief of that province established several new security posts along the highway for betterment of ensuring security in that province.
