Maimana City (BNA) A top Taliban Commander (Qari Ahmad Kahalid) who was in-charge for organizing suicide and bombing attacks, detained during an operation led by NDS personnel in Maimana city.
The National Directorate of Security NSD press office stated BNA that Qari Khalid acknowledge that he was involved for major of suicide attacks in Maimana city by detonating a remote-controlled improvised explosive Device (IED) that contained 25kgs of explosives, fortunately the intelligence operatives managed to successfully thwart the attack and arrest him.
According to the source, with the arresting of Qari Khalid bloodshed incident prevented in Maimana city.
