Kabul (BNA) An acknowledgement message has been dispatched one-behalf president Karzai in response to the congratulatory message of Imam Ali Rehman, president of Tajikistan on Nawroz and New Year.
The message notes that I am pleased to appreciate your hospitality accorded to me and my companion during our attendance of Nawroz festival of 131 and the fifth conference of regional economic cooperation for “Afghanistan hosted by you in beautiful city of Dushanbe.
The ancient Nawroz is our people’s great celebration that was held this year in your beautiful country.
Meanwhile, holding of the fifth conference of regional economic cooperation in the brother country of Tajikistan indicts our fraternity and friendship between the two nations.
We praise the support and cooperation of Tajikistan in organizing these two events. Afghanistan and Tajikistan are two brotherly state having deep historical, religious and cultural common bonds and naturally they are confront by similar threats.
For this very reason further strengthening of ties and expansion of cultural, economic and trade relations between the two nations can further consolidate our positions against those threats.
Please allow to once again thank you for hosting and organizing the Nawruz festival of New Year 1391 and the fifth conference on regional economic cooperation for Afghanistan for ever further expansion of relations and friendly cooperation with the fraternal Tajikistan.
