Kabul (BNA) Defense and security forces in the last 24 hours conducting joint offensive operations in various parts of the country killed 59 armed oppositions including two local commanders of Taliban, and wounded 14 others.
According to national defense ministry press office to BNA, the operations were carried out with support of air and artillery forces in Nangarhar, Ghazni, Paktika, Urozgan, Farah, Balkh, Faryab, Samangan, Kunduz, Baghlan and Helmand provinces.
In the operations several heavy and light weapons were also seized.
