Kabul (BNA) The ministry of interior is determined to root out corruption and punish corrupt officials, the minister for interior Noorul Haq Uloomi said yesterday.
Addressing a seminar on boosting professionalism and fighting corruption, minister Uloomi said that the ministry has been working to chalk out a code of conduct on how to fight corruption and those to ensure good governance.
Speaking at the seminar, the deputy to interior ministry General Mohammad Ayoub Salangi besides highlighting the support of international community to Afghan police also said that serious fight against corruption would help to get more international community’s support.
Head of general supervision of interior ministry, Rahimullah Burhani also spoke at the seminar and stressed for fighting corruption and ensuring accountability with in departments of interior ministry.
