President Ghani Left Kabul for Tajikistan On An Official Visit

Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, headed a high-level government delegation left Kabul for Dushanbe capital of Tajikistan, to attend the 9th Conference of Foreign Ministers of the Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process.

During the two-day visit, in addition to attending and speaking at the conference, the President will meet with Tajik President Imam Ali Rahman, Prime Minister and Speaker of the Parliament of that country to discuss and exchanged views on expanding relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

During the visit, the Afghan President will also deliver a speech at the National University of Tajikistan, where he will be awarded an honorary doctorate by the President of the University.
