Ghazni Security Issue To Be Reviewed In NSC, Khalili

Kabul (BNA) A number of representatives of Ghazni people in Wolesi Jirga met yesterday with Second Vice President, Mohammad Karim Khalili.
BNA reported, in the meeting held with participation of a number of Ghazni people representatives, recent suicide and armed attack in Ghazni, security measures in the province and losses caused by the attack were discussed.
Representatives of Ghazni people first delivered their report related to losses caused by recent incident in Ghazni to Second Vice President, asserting that the losses were much excessive than what they were echoed in media.
According to representatives of Ghazni people, the incident has resulted in huge side impacts, so Afghan government is needed to pay particular and serious consideration related to reconstruction of the destroyed area.
The participants while praising Afghan security forces for reaction against suicide attackers in the incident and expressing sympathy with the victim families stressed on adopting serious security measures in the province, addressing to victims of the incident and reconstruction of the destroyed areas.
Following, Second Vice President, Mohammad Karim Khalili while expressing condolence and sympathy with those families who lost their loved ones and victims of the security forces praised the security forces for their courage and reaction against terrorists.
The Vice President also praised representatives of Ghazni people for visiting the province to closely review the incident.
Inconsideration to statements of representatives of Ghazni people and while stressing on adopting serious security measures in Ghazni province, Second Vice President said Afghan government was ready to provide assistance to victims’ families of the incident after the incident was reviewed by a government delegation. The Vice President also asserted after reviews and reports to be provided by the delegation tasked in this regard, serious security measures would be reviewed at the National Security Council (NSC) meeting for Ghazni province.
