Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan national football team has been defeated by Pakistan national football team. The friendly competition was held yesterday in Pakistan’s Lahore city and as a result, Pakistan won the competition by 2 goals. The friendly competition was held for closeness of the two nations and consolidation of government relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan. In a competition held two years ago in Kabul between the two teams, Afghanistan defeated Pakistan by three goals.
According to another report, during World Cup exercise competitions, Afghanistan national cricket team won its second competition by 154 runs from Western District Team.
The Afghan team won the toss and decided to bowl first. The team players made 347 runs in 50 over and the target was 348 runs for the opposite team. The opposite team could not complete the target and made only 193 runs with all players out and was defeated by Afghan national cricket team by 154 runs.
