Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai met with the protesting students opposing the change of name of Education University.
The students presented the reasons for their protest for change of name of the University to Shaheed of Peace Prof. Burhanuddeen Rabbani and also forwarded some of their proposals for ending of the protests.
President Karzai after hearing their proposals encouraged the students to continue their lessons and while praising their talents said that today’s youth that are making the future of the country should think over unity and their education.
By encouraging the students to continue their education also said that future meetings and further studies in this respect will pave ground for an acceptable solution for the students and necessary decision will be taken.
