Kabul (BNA) The 60th meeting of the commission to prevent violence against women with Fauzia Habibi, deputy on women affairs ministry was held here yesterday, BNA reported.
Speaking on the occasion, Sayeda Majgan Mostafavi, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture on Publications said that formation of special police to end violence against women is essential in the society. The also noted that here ministry, in efforts to check violence against women has released scores of articles, commentaries and analytical stories to ensure women rights in society.
Officials from several government entities including Deputy to Public Health Ministry, Najia Tariq and Deputy to Education Ministry, Dr. Assadullah Mohaqiq also spoke on the occasion.
