CE Meets Commanders, Elders From Parwan Province

Kabul (BNA) The Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in meeting held in Sapidar Palace with elders and commanders from Parwan province here the other day said that no conspiracy was involved in attacking and destroying the weapon cache of Commander Jan Ahmad. Accompanied by minister for interior, acting minister for defense and several high ranking officials, the chief executive said that Mujahideen are the bases of stability in Afghanistan. He also added that the attack on weapon cache was not a conspiracy and rather it was conducted by NATO-led Resolute Support mission in the wake of attacks on Bagram airfield. The chief executive also added that it was better if the operation had been conducted in coordination with the government, adding the government would do its best that such incident won’t be repeated in future. Speaking on behalf of others, a member of the delegation Rasouli said they want to make sure that the incident won’t be repeated. The people of Parwan are supporting the government and commander Jan Ahmad Khan has been supporting the government of national unity and the chief executive Dr. Abdullah, Rasouli said, adding “We want government to have clear response to the people.” According to another report, a delegation of elders from Kandahar and Helmand provinces called on the chief executive here the other day and briefed him about the problems in the said provinces.
