Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met with the deputy and acting of the UN special agency for Afghanistan and discussed issues related to agenda, said CE office in his official Facebook page on Tuesday.
In the meeting, the special envoy emphasized on the independence of the electoral commissions in accordance to the law and said the international community has supported the Afghan parliamentary election process, said the CE’s Facebook comment.
Dr. Abdullah Abdullah thanked the UN for its cooperation with Afghanistan electoral commissions and said the government was fully prepared to provide all means and facilities for the parliamentary election.
