Kabul (BNA) The First Vice-President, Mohammad Younus Qanooni met the Leading Body of the Policy Group Board here yesterday, BNA reported.
In his meeting, Qanooni with regard to the efforts for confidence building between Afghanistan and the neighboring countries and other countries of the world said, he is hopeful that the group could draft a plan for the solution of the ongoing problems between Afghanistan and the regional countries. The Vice-President added that there are three important subjects with the Policy Group Board which requires formation of joint commission between Afghanistan and Pakistan, the impartial policy of this body and confidence building between Afghanistan, Pakistan, United States of America and other countries.
Mahmoud Saiqal, Abdul Hamid Mubariz, Nahid Farid, Abdul Rahim Karimi and Dr. Sardar Mohammad presented their viewpoints about the modalities of the board work and it was decided to discuss the challenges lying ahead of the entity. Policy Group Board which is an independent body and working for the solution of problems between Afghanistan and the neighboring states also awarded honorary membership for the First Vice- President and the proposal was approved.
