President Ghani Reviews Security Situation Via Video Conference

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, president of the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan spoke with security and civil officials of Kunduz, Baghlan, Helmand, Kandahar, Farah and Uruzgan provinces through video conference form Tawhid national center, a statement from the presidential press office said, quoting the president as saying that budget has been allocated for the internal displaced people and the assistance to needy families would be continued. Calling the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) the real heroes of Afghanistan, the president said that the bravery of the ANSF has led to defeating of the militants in the past three phases of war, vowing to defeat them again, the statement added. “The enemies of Afghan people want to overshadow the peace process, in particular with HIA and commitment of the International community in term of equipping the ANSF,” the president said, adding Afghan people believes on their future since witnessing the inauguration of a number of the economical and development projects, but the enemies seeking ways to bring violence and bloodshed to our society.
“HIA and Afghan government peace deal shows that Afghan people willing to have a durable peace in their country. The negotiation has changed the idea of war and has turned a powerful military force into a political party within the country’s constitution,” the president noted.
The president went on saying that international community’s commitments were three times higher than expected, calling proper management of the programs and preparations behind the success. “We knew that the enemies of our country would not hesitate to destroy the spirit of the people,” the president added, as quoted in the presidential press office statement.
