Kabul (BNA) Up to 9 Taliban militants including their military and financial in-charge were killed during military operations conducted by Afghan security personnel in northern Kunduz and Baghlan provinces.
Press office of 209 Shaheen army corps stated BNA, Qari Dost Mohammad military in-charge for Taliban terrorist group and Mullah Niyaz Mohammad financial in-charge of the group along with four armed insurgents were lost their lives due to a mopping-up operation carried out by Afghan National Army forces in Daftani region, Dasht Archi district of Kunduz province.
Meanwhile, three anti-government militias have been perished following a clearing operation launched by Afghan security troops in Dand-e-Shahabuddin area, Baghlan province, the source added.
Some heavy and light weapons have been discovered and seized at the end of the operations.
