Kabul (BNA) Afghan security forces conducted clearing operations during the past 24 hours in provinces of the country killed 56 armed insurgents.
Defense ministry press office said BNA, Afghan National Army (ANA) aiming to eliminate insurgents conducted operations in Nangarhar, Ghazni, Paktia, Helmand and Kandahar provinces in which 56 rebels killed 49 others wounded.
According to another report, ANA forces while carrying their duties discovered and confiscated 65 anti-vehicle mines from different parts of the country.
