Afghan Forces Take Over Security of Shindand District

Kabul (BNA) The security forces of Afghanistan assumed the security responsibility of Shindand district, Herat province from NATO-led forces yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, police chief of Herat province Rahmatullah Safi said that the national security forces have got the capacity and professionalism to take over security of the country and today our forces took over the security charges of Shindand district which and unsecure area in the past.
Speaking on the occasion, the commander of Italian troops in the Western region said,” We are the witness of the capacity building of the Afghan security forces by each passing day in Herat and they have the ability to take over the security to their country in future.
