Anti-Islamic Provocations Should Be Avoided During Ashura Ceremony

Kabul (BNA) Acting President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Sarwar Danush solicited all the Afghan people on the occasion of Ashura and mourning day of the holy Islam’s prophet grandchild, the other day.
He said the Hussaini Ashura arrives, while the peoples’ wide preparations to mark the dignity and altitude of the martyr of rights and justice, Imam Hussain are underway in different parts of the country. However the main target of the Imam was directly to fight torture and despotism, but the main philosophy was to enlighten and reforms of the affairs, he said in his message.
As the Afghan society is stepping up towards great development further than ever, there is a need for brining reforms and enlightening in different affairs and getting closer to the Islamic teachings. Considering the current sensitive conditions of the world, particularly Afghanistan, Iask the preachers and orators to keep away from offering any subjects against Imam Hussain’s approaches and the Islamic teachings, the acting president said adding: “We need for unity and brotherhood further than ever, as the Ashura is paving the way for the Muslim nations’ brotherhood.” The preparation body of the mourning ceremony is also asked to refrain from any actions leading to provocation of other Muslim brothers, he advised as he regretted over what he said something carried out in many parts of the cities, particularly the capital Kabul, not worthy for the dignity of Imam Hussain nor for his mourners and a conversant society. He advised the entire men and women to pay attention to the speech of the religious scholars who are providing them with their speeches and advices during the holy ceremony. In conclusion, the acting president of the country asked the media outlets covering the Ashura ceremony to refrain releasing objects provoking discords among the people and the security forces of the country to fully take security of the mourners and closely monitor any suspected and destructive cases around the city.
