Kabul (BNA) Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen Minister of Information and Culture led the meeting of the preparatory commission for celebrating Ghazni festival.
BNA correspondent reported, Dr. Raheen said at the meeting that discussions took place for reviewing preparation for holding the Ghazni festival celebration so that they can obtain the cooperation of ministries and related foundations and the festival is organized in the first week of Hoot of current year in better manners. Eng. Mohammad Yusuf Pashtoon presidential advisor in construction affairs appreciating the activities carried by the Information and Culture Ministry and the Ghazni province, expressed his views about accelerating the preparatory process.
At this meeting Mosa Khan Akbarzada governor of Ghazni explained the accomplished and remaining activities in this respect and asked attention of the foundations whose activities are remaining half-finished. General Mohammad Ayub Salangi senior deputy minister for security of interior ministry apprised the participants of the meeting about security preparedness for the festival.
The meeting after hearing the views of the participants took necessary decisions.
The meeting was also attended by Sayed Musadeq Khalili deputy minister for cultural affairs of the ministry, representatives of the interior, defense, foreign affairs, transport and civil aviation, finance, urban development, national security department, local organs and the Banaye Construction Company and other related organs.
