Any Program To Bring Positive Changes Would Be Supported: Dr. Kamal Sadat

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Kamal Sadat deputy minister of youth affairs in a meeting with representative of the UNDP emphasized on drafting of a project on youth and Ulema’s volunteer caravan in gender equality spheres, BNA reported.
UNDP’s representative Saifullah Sayes briefed the deputy minister on the project, saying the project would improve gender equality in Afghanistan.
He said the ministries of women affairs, hajj and endowment as well as the deputy ministry of youth affairs to jointly work with UNDP and UN’s volunteer agency in different spheres of using volunteers for public awareness on gender equality, promotion of youth’s leadership role and creation of the national volunteer networks.
According to Sayes, ministry of women to have monitoring role, deputy ministry of youth affairs to mobilize youth across the country for volunteer works and the ministry of hajj and endowment  to carry out activities on social changes through different programs in close coordination with religious scholars.
Hinting to important role of youth within society, Dr. Kamal Sadat vowed to spare no effort in assisting the program. He said would support any program to bring positive changes.
