President Karzai Accepts Credential of S. African Non-Resident Ambassador

Kabul (BNA) While minister of foreign affairs, Zarar Ahmad Osmani was also present, due to ceremonial function, President Hamid Karzai accepted the credential of non-resident ambassador of South Africa in Afghanistan.
According to BNA, after ceremony of presentation of credential or that took place in presidential palace on last Thursday, president Karzai and non- resident ambassador of South Africa discussed and exchanged views on relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Expressing his happiness over establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, the president of the country wished success for new non- resident ambassador of S. Africa in his new post. Hinting to reliable educational institutions of S. Africa, president Karzai asked the ambassador of S. Africa to lay educational scholarships at the disposal of Afghan youths. Afterwards, the new ambassador of S. Africa congratulated successful holding of presidential and provincial councils’ elections to the president and people of Afghanistan and added that he would make efforts during his tenure for strengthening and expansion of bilateral ties between the two countries especially paving the way of education for the youths of Afghanistan in his country.
