Nangarhar’ Police Headquarter Came Under Attack Last Night

Jalalabad (BNA) A group of suicide bombers attacked on Nangarhar police headquarter building last night, in which five suicide attackers were killed and another was arrested following clashes with Afghan security forces.
Col. Fazul Ahmad Shirzad police chief of Nangarhar province said BNA, the incident took place last night, while six suicide bombers using two vehicles packed with explosive materials wanted to enter in the headquarter, but the attackers confront with full strengthen of Afghan security forces and exploded their explosive materials in a workshop section of the police headquarter, as a result two suicide bombers were killed.
The four other attackers started clashes with Afghan security forces, in which following three-hour clashes between them and Afghan security forces three suicide bombers were killed and another was arrested, Shirzad added.
The building of headquarter and residential houses near the police headquarter have been destroyed and there were no casualties incurred to civilians at the end of the attack, Shirzad further added.
5 suicide bombers including the person, who arrested by Afghan security forces were Pakistani citizens and another suicide attacker was Afghan, Shirzad concluded.
