Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai, president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met Iraqi foreign minister Hushyar Zebari at presidential palace yesterday.
Zebari expressed happiness for visiting Afghanistan, saying he always wished to visit Afghanistan and today he succeeds to attain his desire.
At the meeting, both sides discussed related to extension of bilateral cooperation and relations between the two countries. Iraqi foreign minister presented good wishes of the Iraqi people to president Karzai and wished lasting peace in Afghanistan.
President Hamid Karzai called Iraq a historic and civilized country and wished peace and welfare for the Iraqi government and people.
