Kabul (BNA) Taliban attack on Ghanikhail district’s checkpoints push back by Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
The militants sustained heavy casualties and escaped from the area, police official claimed.
According to reports, dozens insurgents stormed on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in Ghanikhail district of the province.
Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal spokesman of police chief in Nangarhar told BNA, the militants sustained heavy casualties, but the exact number is not clear.
It has been said, there were no any casualties among civilian and Afghan security forces following the attack.
