Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai accepted the diplomatic credentials of the new Egyptian ambassador to Kabul Mahab Nasr on Wednesday here at the Presidential Palace.
After receiving the credentials, President Karzai and the new Egyptian ambassador explored ways to enhance bilateral ties.
President Karzai termed Egypt as historic friend of Afghanistan and said that the two countries have long enjoyed friendly and cordial relations. Nasr stressed on further expansion of bilateral relations. He vowed to work for strengthening ties between the two countries during his mission in Afghanistan.
