Kabul (BNA) At least 7 Taliban militants were killed and 11 others were wounded during mopping-up operations led by Afghan National Security Forces in two provinces.
Commander of security forces said BNA, the operation were launched in relevant areas of Maiwand district of Kandahar and Dand Shahabuddin area, Pul-e-Khumri city the provincial capital of northern Baghlan province, in which two militants were killed and 10 others were wounded.
Some weapons and ammunitions have been seized by security forces following the operations, the source added.
