World Day Against Trafficking In Persons Marked

Kabul (BNA) World Day against Trafficking in Persons was marked by Quick Aid Organization and deputy ministry of youth affairs in Kabul.
In a ceremony held on this occasion, deputy minister of youth affairs for information and culture Dr. Kamal Sadat said the deputy ministry has launched promoting programs for prevention of human trafficking in schools, universities and villages, asking media to be cooperative with the government for public awareness in the country.
Speaking in the ceremony, deputy spokesperson to President Dawa Khan Menapal informed of the government’s commitment towards counter human trafficking and added enforcement of anti-human trafficking law has paved the way to prevent the phenomenon.
Meanwhile, an official for justice ministry asked for national effort and regional cooperation in this regard.
