IEA Will Not Let Foes Undermine Ties with Neighbors

KABUL (BNA) late Wednesday several missiles were fired between Afghan-Uzbek borders, Afghan Foreign Ministry calls it the enemy’s intentions.

The Afghan Ministry of Foreign spokesman in a series of tweets says: “Several rockets among eight fired within Afghan-Uzbek border proximity late yesterday afternoon landed in both Afghanistan and Uzbekistan territories,”. Adding.

“The security forces immediately rushed to the area and launched serious efforts to identify and apprehend the perpetrators,”.

Afghan foreign ministry says the enemy wants to create destruction among two friendly neighboring countries, adding that the Islamic Emirate will not give anyone the opportunity to use Afghanistan’s soil against another country, and will not let foes undermine ties between neighbors.

Meanwhile, Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman of IEA in a tweet said that missiles fired from the territory of Afghanistan towards Uzbekistan were the job of some malefic groups who want to create mistrust between the two friendly neighbors.

Mr. Mujahid assured Uzbekistan that Islamic Emirate would launch an operation to capture the criminals and punish them for their crimes.

Earlier, the supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in his Eid message assured world countries, especially the neighboring countries that there will no threat from Afghan soil.
