Herat (BNA) Two blasts were prevented in Ghoryan district, Herat province yesterday.
Two mines were placed for targeting civilians in Sabol village of the district, discovered and neutralized by police and engineering team of security command of that province.
A security official of the province told BNA, armed insurgents with planting of the mines wanted to organize a series of bloody events to civilians, but fortunately not succeeded to their evil goals.
It is said that the mines have been discovered with cooperation of local people.
