Kabul (BNA) In the name of Allah the most merciful and the most gracious,
Dear countrymen, sisters and brothers,
The Consultative Loya Jirga for discussing the security pact between Afghanistan and the US was held, and with God blessings it was ended. People from throughout Afghanistan participated at this Jirga and in four days they debated the security pact and by issuing of a resolution voiced their views for the people of Afghanistan.
Dear countrymen, considering the consultations of the Consultative Loya Jirga and its resolution for preserving of our national high interests we set forth some conditions that the US should prior to its signature give us her commitments.
The residents of this country in all its corners should feel secure in their homes and we were in conflict with foreign forces in this respect and we can ensure security for our people when we prevent foreign forces operations in rural regions and cities for needs of the people of Afghanistan, we set forth some conditions so that attack of foreign forces to our homes is stopped.
Another condition that is incorporated into the resolution of the Loya Jirga is ensuring of peace in the country. Our people are suffering of insecurity for years and sustained financial and human loses. All our people want peace and nationwide security in the country.
We ask the US to have honest cooperation in this respect so that peace process is solved peaceably through official talks.
Another condition is transparent election free from foreign intervention. The US National Security Advisor assured in her meeting with me of non-interference of her country but the US did not commit his country with respect to stopping of foreign forces attacks on our homes and the peace in the country so signing of the security pact from our viewpoints is for ensuring of peace and security.
If the US consider the basic needs of our people that peace, security and safety of their homes they should decisively cooperate with us.
The people of Afghanistan as a whole agree with this security pact and they support it as a whole and the Loya Jirga also approved it, but it will be signed when our conditions are accepted and the people of Afghanistan feel secure and attain peace.
