Kabul (BNA) Recent clashes between Taliban militants and Afghan security personnel took the lives of 13 insurgents in southern Kandahar province.
The conflicts occurred, while the armed rebels wanted to targeted Afghan security forces conveys in relevant areas of Spin Boldak district and Kandahar city the provincial capital of the province.
Commander of Afghan National Army in the south of the country told BNA correspondent, 13 armed oppositions lost their lives following the clashes.
According to another report, Afghan security troops with discovering 7 rounds of different types of mines succeeded to prevent a series of bloodiest incidents in the province.
The mines had been planted by enemies of the country to target civilians and Afghan security personnel in crowded areas of Kandahar.
