KABUL(BNA): The Ministry of Public Health has announced that in the past year, over 18,000 surgeries were performed at the National and Specialized Hospital of Istiqlal.
According to the ministry’s statement, in the past year, 18,047 surgeries across various healthcare fields were successfully performed by experienced Afghan doctors.
Additionally, outpatient services were provided to 186,581 patients, and 29,272 patients received inpatient care.
Previously, in the year 1402, the Ministry of Public Health had successfully announced approximately 10,000 free surgeries performed by experienced Afghan doctors at Ibn Sina Emergency Hospital.
