KABUL (BNA) Sheikh Mawlawi Noorullah Muneer, met with the Deputy Ambassador of Qatar to Afghanistan, Saeed Al-Eida, on Saturday.
The Minister of Education said that Qatar has always kept close ties with Afghanistan and has remained a friendly country in hard times, said a statement by the Ministry.
The Islamic Emirate wants to maintain and nurture good relations with the whole world, especially Islamic countries, based on the principles of mutual respect and bilateral cooperation, he added.
The Deputy Ambassador of Qatar, for his part, said that Qatar is ready to cooperate with Afghanistan, mainly in the sector of education.
Qatar is planning to help the Ministry of Education in the construction of building schools in Afghanistan, he added.
Lately, Qatar assisted Afghanistan in various sectors.
