Alskan Town To Benefit of Infrastructural Facilities By Developing New Kabul City

Kabul (BNA) A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed yesterday between ministry of refugees and repatriates affairs and independent board for development of New Kabul City.
Speaking in a ceremony held for signing the agreement, deputy of plan and policy for refugees and repatriates affairs Fazil Ahmad Azimi said setting up residential houses was a need for those Afghan repatriates who were returning from foreign countries to their homeland, stressing on continuous and coordinated efforts of all government and non-government officials with coordination of ministry for refugees and repatriates affairs.
Azimi added signing of the agreement with independent board for development of New Kabul city was for balanced development of Alskan repatriates town, hoping both organs could provide better living facilities to repatriates after implementation of joint programs.
“Alskan town, located in the vicinity of New Kabul city, will be built in 5000 acre land,” he added.
According to Azimi, development measures taken for providing New Kabul city in the region can bring better opportunities for residents of the town.
In the ceremony, Eng. Ghulam Sakhi Hassanzada, executive head of independent board for development of New Kabul city said by implementing of the New Kabul’s Master plan, all infrastructural structures and public facilities of the town would be constructed and standard urban services would be provided to residents of the town.
The agreement will identify tasks and work authority between government organs, according to Hassanzada.
