Kabul (BNA) The second vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili received a delegation of cultural figures form eastern zone yesterday.
Composed of head and members of cultural trust association, including lawmaker Mohammad Hassan Mamuzai and some Nangarhar university professors, the delegation besides briefing the vice president on the problems of Nangarhar province and the scarcity of text books and shortage of rooms in dormitory complained the lack of authorities’ attention to Nangarhar canal.
They also demanded establishing a public library in Nangarhar province.
For his part, the vice president in addition to welcoming the delegation and describing library in the province as very important, saying achieving progress and welfare requires more knowledge and hard work.
