Rabbani Meets Finland Ambassador In Kabul

Kabul (BNA) Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani met yesterday with the Ambassador of Republic of Finland in Kabul, Mr. Ari Mäki.
During the meeting, Mr. Mäki while explaining about his country’s assistance to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the last years emphasized that Finland is committed to continue its assistance to this country.
Mr. Mäki also counted Republic of Finland’s contribution in NATO Resolute Support Mission, strengthening the business relation between the two countries and expansion of investments by Afghan and Finnish investors in each other’s countries, as Republic of Finland’s priorities in bilateral relation with Afghanistan. Later on, Rabbani appreciated the assistance of Republic of Finland to Afghanistan including presence of Finnish soldiers in NATO Resolute Support Mission framework, assistance in publication of school books and their pledge for assisting Republic of Afghanistan in various fields. At the end, Rabbani explained the situation of the country and the priorities of the National Unity Government of Afghanistan to Mr. Mäki. According to another report, Salahuddin Rabbani also met with Turkish Charge de Affaires in his office yesterday.
