KABUL (BNA) Rashid Khan, the dynamic wrist spinner continued his domination in the T20 format.
The spinner took his 500th T20 wicket in the ongoing SA20 league. Rashid was playing against Pretoria Capitals for his team MI Cape Town where he took the wicket of Clyde Fortuin and finished the match with 3 wickets for 16 runs in his 4 overs spell.
Rashid Khan has been a force to reckon with in the franchise rotation where he has the knack of picking up wickets at regular intervals of the match.
The spinner recently has been reappointed by the skipper of the T20I Afghanistan Cricket Team.
Dwayne Bravo was the first bowler to take 500 Wickets. The 24-year-old spinner Rashid Khan has been on a roll where day by day his variations have been tough to pick. The World Cricket erupted in joy when Rashid Khan breached 500 T20 wickets.
With his new responsibility as captain of the national team, it would be impressive to see whether Rashid’s natural game would be affected.
The national team’s next match is against Pakistan in March for 3 T20I match series which would be quite fascinating as both the teams retain grueling rivalry between them.
