Kabul (BNA) In a meeting with Female Journalists’ Association members, Acting Minister of Information and Culture Hasina Safi said successful were those who have self-reliance, BNA reported on Sunday.
According to the agency, the participants have passed a journalism training course financially supported by the U.S. International Development Agency (US-AID) and organized by Inter-News.
Lauding women and girls presence in all fields of politics, social, cultural and economy, Acting MoIC Hasina Safi said women and girls should further pay heed to their education and capacity-building, BNA added.
She also said that a number of girls could be recreated in the ministry’s vacancies through free competition, the agency went on to say.
At the end, Shafiqa Habibi detailed about female journalists’ association activities and a number of girls awarded with Inter-News certificates by the Acting Minister of Information and Culture.
