Qala Naw (BNA) Badghis local officials reported distributing cash to 17 villages victims’ residents of the recent earthquake in Badghis province.
Mawlawi Baz Mohammad Sarwari, director of information and culture of Badghis, told BNA, that cash distributed by IRC in coordination with Badghis department of Disaster Management, provided assistance to nearly 900 families in 17 villages in Qades district affected by the recent earthquake.
26,000 Afghanis had been distributed to each family, he said.
Meanwhile, cash had been recently distributed to 222 families affected by the recent earthquake in the provincial capital.
