Kabul (BNA) Despite pouring billions of dollars through the international community and the donor nations to Afghanistan within the recent thirteen years, but, still it is seen that poverty rules in the country where the official corruption has caused the slowness of development and expansion.
Existence of official corruption in the government and non-government institutions caused that economic and land mafias to grow in the country, in which as a result insecurity and disability rule in the country. This issue prevented the rule of law’s implementation. Lack of rule of law causes that relation is preferred than regulation and finally, this caused in employment in the government and non-government administrations, the principle of meritocracy, experiment commitment and legal capacity be ignored. Consequently, we can say that continuation of this process caused majority of educated and experts of the country not to find work according to their expertise.
They compelled to resort to other works to provide the livelihood for their families and hope by proclamation of the new cabinet, qualified people are recruited in key positions according to their expertise in the government and non-government administrations and through this to work for their people and country. On the other, lack of employment for majority of our countrymen caused the poverty dimension is expanded among the people. This compelled some families to resort to begging on the streets as with each passing day, the number of beggars is increasing.
Although, the government adopted some measures to collect beggars from the streets of the city, but, as it is seen, it failed to do it. So, it is said that the government had no effective programs to improve the living situation of this segment of the society, so the number of beggars is increasing day by day. Additionally, as it is seen a number of beggars are professionalized, and they resort to begging collectively.
It is also mentionable that a number of beggars are addicted to narcotics and through this they gain some money for addiction. So, it is necessary that the government to make a specific plan for eradication of poverty in the country, as it links to strong determination and management of high-ranking officials of the new government. They should lay down their disputes and work jointly to rescue the country from this calamity and instruct toward progress and development. According to witnesses, if the new government officials have no strong determination for complete annihilation of poverty and unemployment and new plan and roadmaps not to be taken as well as the way of campaigning against this phenomenon not to be sought and not to be implemented, in such a way, the poverty would be expanded more and the country would not be rescued from it simply.
What is mentionable is this that with the expansion of poverty and misfortune in the country, the mafias of economy, land and narcotics would also grow that with the growing of this unpleasant phenomenon, the rule of law would become faint-cultured and our country would be closed to the hub of falling. Finally, it should be said that with continuation of this process, instability would increase in the country and the system would be collapsed. So, it is necessary that the high-ranking officials should enter to the scene with fresh programs and roadmaps and through this, wipe out the poverty, misfortune, insecurity, official corruption, plantation and trafficking of narcotics in the country.
In such a way, for performance of this obligation, the new government should stand manly with ironic determination against these miseries and don’t harass from the incidents of time and withholding economic and development programs uproot poverty, misfortune and insecurity in the country so the rays of hope are opened before people for welfare and development of Afghanistan.
