Road Accidents Took Six Lives in Helmand

HELMAND (BNA) Separate Road traffic accidents took the lives of six people and left injured nine others in Helmand province.

Local officials said the incidents occurred in the last 48 Hours in Lashkargah city and in some other districts of the province.

Incidents took place in the collision of two cars while another car crashed with a motorbike, said reports.

The incidents left six people dead and injured nine others in the province said a Security source to BNA.

Local Traffic officials in the province called high speed and recklessness of the drivers the main reason behind these fatal incidents, saying some drivers have been detained in charge of non-compliance with traffic role of law.

In the meantime, medics in Helmand public health department reported the condition of two injuries as critical.
