Maimana City (BNA) Two Taliban insurgents were killed and five others wounded following clashes with Afghan Security Forces (ASF) in northern Faryab province.
Col. Mir Amanullah Zaher security director of Faryab reported BNA, the clashes took place, while Taliban militants attacked on security checkpoints in Qaisar and Pashtoon Koot districts of the province the night before last.
After the clashes Taliban forced to flee from the area and their weapons remained in the battlefield.
It is mentionable that there were no any casualties suffered on Afghan security forces following the clashes, Zaher concluded.
