Addressing Women’s Problems Our Priority, Minister Safi

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by the acting and nominee minister of information and culture Hasina Safi, a meeting was held to discuss problems of women within the ministry.
Addressing the participants, the country’s acting minister of information and culture, Ms. Hasina Safi said: “The main aim of today’s meeting is to assess the problems and challenges faced by women on their work areas in the ministry.” However she pointed that meeting all women problems including that of related to budget was challenging as she said: “We are at the next half of the year and this is impossible to address all your problems, but for the next year we would do our best to meet your problems.”
The acting minister added that women in outer would countries have such problems, but they could overcome all their challenges by using their capacities.
She said had tried her best to reach this position and advised the women to work hard and beef up their self-confidence to break any barriers.
“We have programs to help meet your problems and help women head the management and use their capacities on their worksites,” the acting minister assured.
Representing other, director of the ministry’s publications, Najiba Maram said this is a matter of pleasure that a women was now leading the ministry, and that many women with high capacities were working within the ministry but with no opportunity paved for them so far.
She asked the ministry leadership to encourage and support women officials of the ministry and do more for them in different fields including education scholarships, wages balanced with male staffs and providing other facilities.
After hearing to the problems shared by the director of the ministry’s publication, Ms. Hasina Safi reassured them of any cooperation in various fields for them.
