3,000 Families Receive S. Arabia Aid

Kabul (BNA) The humanitarian assistance provided by Saudi Arabia has been distributed among 3,000 families in Herat province, BNA reported.
Distributed in coordination with the ministry for refugees and repatriation affairs, the package includes 50 kg flour, 25kg rice, 5kg cooking oil, 1 kg tea, 1 gas cylinder, one bucket and a kittle to each family.
The assistance is part of the aid worth 2 million US dollars committed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In his remarks, the minister for refugees and repatriation affairs Dr. Jamahir Anwari while expressing gratitude to the Kingdom, said that more than 13,000 families had been benefited from the assistance in six provinces over the past 20 days. He also added that the ministry for refugees’ affairs would seek more humanitarian assistance from national and international institutions to help displaced and returnees in the coming months.
