Session Evaluates Positive Achievement Of HPC Delegation To Pakistan

Kabul (BNA) At the meeting that was held at the presidential Palace, President Karzai considered the visit of the high peace delegation led by Salahuddin Rabbani and its members to Pakistan as very positive.
The meeting expressed satisfaction over the release of a number of Taliban prisoners at the request of the Afghan high peace council delegation (HPC) by the Pakistani authorities and hoped that such efforts continue.
The meeting also supported the joint statement issued at the end of talks of the Afghan high peace council and the Pakistani authorities. 
The meeting was attended by Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president, chairman of the high peace council Salahuddin Rabbani, chairmen of the both houses of parliament Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi and Fazel Hadi Muslimyar, Minister of National Defense Besmellah Mohammadi, chairman of the nation-wide ulema council of Afghanistan Mawlawi Qeyamuddin Kashaf, deputy minister of interior affairs for security Abdul Rehman Rehman, deputy minister of foreign ministry for political affairs Jawed Ludeen, chairman of the local organs Abdul Khaliq Farahi and members of the high peace council Haji Deen Mohammad and Mohammad Masoum Stanikzai.
