Qala-e-Naw (BNA) Eight members of Taliban were killed and nine others wounded during clashes with Afghan security forces in Badghis province last night.
The incident took place, when Taliban attacked on Afghan National Security forces in Kanol region, Abkamari district of the province.
Col. Sher Ali Darbandi acting second brigade and in-charge of Abkamari post said BNA reporter, Taliban militants from four sides attacked on Afghan security forces, which were faced with resistance of security forces, as a result eight insurgents including their commander were killed and nine others were injured.
The Source added, there were no any herms and casualties to Afghan security forces following the clashes.
